So... Monday was Chad's Birthday and it was a crazy, wild, turn of unexpected events! I'll leave it at that! Anyhow we ended up eating an unplanned Birthday dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. They sang to him and made him chicken dance for his birthday! Hehe... Check it out! Love, Kate

Roots n Blues n BBQ Festival!

Hey there! Here we are at the BBQ Festival on Saturday, after the guys were done working. Basically we paid $15 (each!) to get down-poured on and watch a long haired hippie and a big 'ol redneck boy (see photo below!) eat some BBQ and dance to some blues music! HAHAHAHA! We were in good company with Uncle Tot and Auntie Shanti so the whole 'thang' was a blast! Clo was rockin' out and lovin' every minute of it. That girl is a trooper! Love, Kate

A day at the Punkin' Patch!

Hey! So.... I've been telling Chad that I wanted to take Chloe (Punkin' Sunshine) to a Punkin' Patch this year and make a tradition. Yesterday, he realized that he had to run some rental equipment back to Kansas City or he'd be charged for another day... so with about 20 minutes notice, we (mostly HE) decided that we'd make a day of it and hit a Punkin' Patch in KC. I'm glad we did, cuz it stretched me out of my 'everything must be planned!' comfort zone and we had a really great day. Clo had so much fun and she was soooo cute! She toddled around, picked out her very own little punkin, and we found a hugemongous punkin' to enter in the Fall Fest contest. Clo is so going to win! Hehe! It's official...she's a toddler!

Hey all. So.... Chloe is walking now... when she wants to! She is officially a toddler! Oh my goodness. She's growing way to fast!! I'm really kind of missing the itty bitty newborn stage... but she's so much fun! It's a blast watching her learn and try new things. :-) This morning, Joyce Eveler shot her one year pics, which I know are going to turn out sooo beautiful! Joyce is amazing! Anyone looking for a photographer, I HIGHLY recommend Joyce. She is simply the best around! I think that she's going to post a few of the pics on her blog sometime soon, so keep an eye out for that!
