BFF's!

Clo spent the afternoon with her best friend, Treagan today. They are too cute! Chloe gets insanely excited when we step in the door at the Porter house. Mel, Trishelle and Baby Treagan were greeted with lots of smiles, kisses, (sorry about the slobber, Trishelle!) hugs, fake coughs (Clo's big new thing) and giggles. The last pic is a little blurry, but so cute! It was a fun day!

Hey all. We took some food out to a gal from our church this evening and stopped by our farm to dream a little and watch some dirt work be done. Mom- check out the peach tree (our 'love fern'!).... it's totally growing and going to have NINE peaches on it this summer!! Yay!

Happy Days!

Hey all! Miss Chloe is just bouncing along... happy, beautiful, and as photogenic as ever! Hehe. A friend just told me I should be a child photographer, and I'm (jokingly) considering! I do get a lot of practice with my Punkin' Sunshine!

A bit of bummer news... I think Clo has developed her Daddy's allergies. She's on baby Zyrtec and I think it's helping. The poor girl has watery eyes and the snottiest nose you've ever seen.... yet, as always, she remains the biggest ball of sunshine in the world!

She had her PAT visit today. We LOVE Lynda, our teacher. The visit went great. Chloe gave Lynda more hugs and lovin' than I've ever seen her give anyone (except Uncle Tot)! Lynda told me that I was a wonderful Mom and that made me feel so good... like all my efforts pay off! She said that she can tell that Chloe is so loved and taken care of. =-)

Spring has sprung in Jeff City, MO!

Hey all! It's been beautiful weather here in Jeff City, MO, so I've been taking Little Miss Punkin Sunshine out to enjoy it! She LOVES to be outside. So does her mommy. Yesterday we were doing a little photo shoot in front of our blooming Easter lillies and Chloe decided to get a little extra fiber by munching on a leaf. Ha! I managed to get most of it out of her mouth, but I'm sure she swallowed some...everyone's been telling me that kids need to eat a little dirt. ***shrugs***


She's getting to be such a big girl! Prefers her sippy cup over the bottle and jabbers ALL the time... and I'm not bragging, but she mostly says 'Momma.' (Not that I mind.)

My Outdoors Girl!

Hey All! I havn't been feeling very well, but am on meds now and starting to feel much better! So Miss Chloe and I took advantage of the beautiful weather here today and stole a few minutes together out in the back yard. Of course, I took some photos! Hehe! And.... we watched Bear chase a squirrel around! Hehe!

Also... I got back Chloe's 6 month pics and they are beyond amazing!! Joyce Eveler produces the most beautiful and artistic photography that I've ever seen in my life. It was so meant to be that we found her!!

Dancing Queen!

Hey All! Chloe has a new big thing! She DANCES now and, of course, her mommy is very excited about it! It's so adorable. She just started doing it on Saturday to the song 'Chicken Fried' by Zac Brown Band. (Auntie Dori got to witness and thought it was equally cute!) I love that song and later I remembered that there were two songs I always sang to Chloe when I was rocking her to sleep and that was one of them. So... I'm curious if she remembered it and made that connection? Hmm? If I only knew what was going on in her amazing, little baby brain!
